  • Arts & Architecture Published from 1929 until 1967, Arts & Architecture Magazine highlighted the development of single-family dwellings during the Post-war period, with specific focus on the work of Southern California architects like Richard Neutra, Rudolf Schindler, Charles Eames, Frank Lloyd Wright, and John Lautner among others. The website offers digitized versions of selected articles from 1945 onwards, as well as full issues from the magazine's last 11 years

  • BUILD Blog A discussion of modern design and architecture, created and written by BUILD LLC, a multi-disciplinary architectural design firm based in Seattle.
  • Buildings This international open access journal accepts submissions on a wide-range of architectural topics, including the building of lighting systems, green buildings, and architectural design philosophy.
  • Canadian Architect Powered by ISSUU, this journal shares its digital archives from 2008-present.
  • Death by Architecture This blog has an exhaustive competition listing page, which can be filtered by regions, academic contests, and grants. Death by Architecture also has articles dedicated to international competitions, highlighting winning projects with photographs and detailed write-ups.
  • Design Milk Both an online magazine and e-commerce shop dedicated to modern design, Design Milk offers what’s new in art, architecture, interior design, furniture and decor, fashion, and technology.
  • Dezeen A London-based website reporting on architecture around the world.
  • Dialogue This online publication is released by the architectural firm Gensler as a PDF download. Earlier editions are also available in PDF. Scroll down to the bottom of the page to browse the issues.

  • Designophy Covers contemporary design and technology news, competitions, interviews, articles and topics related to industrial design and all design professions. Established in 2001, the resource is divided into sections, with news items available through the 'Calendar' and 'Newslog' sections. The 'Designpedia' section is a useful reference database, browsable alphabetically by designer, product or term, while the 'Resource' section is browsable by manuals, internet sites, books, or magazines.
