Special interests

All areas related to Spanish and Portuguese, Latin American and Caribbean Studies.  Information literacy and research skills.  I am also interested in Spanish language pedagogy and the expanding use of digital media in the process of language teaching and learning.

Additional interests:  Guatemala and Kaqchikel. College readiness and the transition year from 12th grade to college freshman. Issues related to DACA.
